Uniform Collection Introduction

THE KIWI CLUB IS THE OWNER OF (3) SEPARATE UNIFORM COLLECTIONS: 

Q The first Collection is kept in Archives at the American Airlines/C.R. Smith Museum in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas.  This Collection never travels, and is periodically updated and maintained by the Co-Historian, Linda Hutchinson Hieger. 

Q The second Collection is kept by the Co-Historian, Linda Hutchinson Hieger in Minnesota, and is a clearing house for uniforms received.  Uniforms from this Collection are used to replenish the Traveling Collection and add to the Archival Collection. Those wishing to donate uniform items may contact Linda by email: saintcharles2@att.net or write to: 4227 Austin Ridge Drive Saint Charles, MO  63304.

Q All other historical information, forms, pictures, etc. are kept by Co-Historian, Gerrie Skaggs McAlhany in Arizona. For questions other than uniforms, and to donate other items, please contact Gerrie at  remgsm@cox.net  

Q The Traveling Uniform Collection is maintained in North Carolina, and shipped for shows by Mona Newton Martin and Mary Worsham McKellar, Co-Coordinators.  Mona and Mary sort, replenish, repair and clean the items in the collection as needed. The Traveling Uniform Collection does not contain all of the uniforms that American Airlines Stewardesses and Flight Attendants have worn.  We are missing several of the earlier uniforms.  If you have items that are not pictured on the website, please use the information above to contact us!
