Celebrating 70 years of Kiwi friendship, fun and philanthropy

It has been a long wait, but finally the news Kiwis have been waiting for!

“Where the Best Began” Convention 2022 is getting ready for take-off in Ft. Worth Texas.  Chairman Marge Coulson Holmes and the DFW-Mid Cities Chapter are planning a rousing celebration to mark our 70th Anniversary, where not only The Kiwi Club began, but where most of us began our flying careers.

The principal dates: Tuesday April 26 through Thursday April 28.

The class reunion celebrations for 1969 - 1970 and 1971-1972 will take place on the evening of April 26.  The event honoring the graduates of 1969-70, of course, was canceled in 2020, but as promised is being held in Ft. Worth in 2022.  The celebration of classes 1971-72 will be a separate event held the same evening.  Earlier that evening an invitational reception will be held giving thanks to the Delegates and Alternate Delegates while giving them the opportunity meet the candidates for National office.

Our Opening Luncheon, recognizing the outstanding accomplishments of Chapters and Individual will be the afternoon of Wednesday April 27, and that evening, a very special Optional Event is being planned.

The Delegates Meeting and Election of Officers will be Thursday April 28, with our Grand Finale ("Kiwis Just Wanna’ Have Fun") Banquet that evening.

The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth, our 2022 convention hotel, is a historic fixture in downtown Ft. Worth offering contemporary comfort near celebrated Sundance Square, the shopping and entertainment district where charming, beautifully restored buildings stand alongside glittering skyscrapers.  Our very special rate of $189 per night is available April 25-28, 2022, with a limited number of rooms, space available, on April 24 and April 29.

To make your reservation you may call 800-433-5677 and reference the Kiwi Club Biennial National Convention or use the direct link by clicking below:

If you attended our 50th Anniversary in 2002, this is the same hotel, which has undergone a beautiful major makeover.

Do plan to come to Ft. Worth, to celebrate and pay tribute to our predecessor Kiwis who paved the way 70 years ago, that we may today have this wonderful organization and so many true, lasting Kiwi friendships.
