Fete des Peaches & Cream Opening Luncheon

At 11 AM a Pre-Luncheon cash-bar cocktail reception will be held in the foyer of the Cumberland Sapelo Dining Room where we will enter for our Fete des Peaches & Cream Opening Luncheon. 12 PM - 3 PM

As many of you remember, this is an open-seating affair and we will draw a table number before entering the dining room.  This gives us an opportunity to meet former and new friends while sharing our stories and fun experiences.

Our National President, Stephanie McCauley Butler, will introduce the National Officer candidates for the next term: 2024-26, and present awards to Chapters and individuals.  Please look on the website and see if anyone in your chapter would be a candidate for an award, and follow the procedures to nominate.

After lunch, Stephanie will introduce our Guest Speaker, Dr. David McKenas MD MPH who was instrumental in having all American airplanes fitted with the AED!

Silent Auction

It’s less than a year to convention 2024. Time to clean out those Kiwi or AA items you are ready pass on. A silent auction will direct your possessions to a new home and raise money for the Kiwi Fund (NKF) and WINGS. Since 2014 the silent auction has raised $10,232.64! Please email a picture of the items you are either bringing to:

Cindi Saunders at: cindisanderskiwi@gmail.com

There will be a few surprises in the Silent Auction!

At the last convention in Ft. Worth, many of you asked about getting another uniform like the one you flew in.

Well, a donor heard about it and we are happy to announce that there will be full flight attendant uniforms included in the silent auction!  (Years include 1946 and 1966)

As an additional surprise, we have received an actual piece of an American Airlines aircraft fuselage, including the window and part of the lettering!

As always, you must be present to win these auction items. They will be on display in the hospitality suite throughout the convention. For questions about these items contact:

Chris Strommer Moeckel at: cgmatlga@gmail.com
