Hotel - Registration - Hospitality - Boutique
The convention officially began as old friends reunited and new friendships quickly formed in the welcoming atmosphere of the Hotel Contessa. The Hospitality Room became the heart of the convention — a gathering place filled with laughter, conversation, and plenty of Kiwi camaraderie. Meanwhile, the Boutique offered shopping, colorful treasures, and memorabilia that was hard to resist.

Fiesta Luncheon
We were honored to welcome Captain Beverley “Bev” Bass a longtime American Airlines aviator, as our guest speaker at this year’s convention. With a career spanning more than three decades, Bev shared powerful reflections from her time in the skies—including her experience on 9/11, when her flight was diverted to Gander, Newfoundland, and she witnessed extraordinary moments of professionalism, compassion, and teamwork.
Our time together also included the presentation of Kiwi Awards, the introduction of our new officers, and a special video unveiling our next convention destination: Palm Springs.
A memorable gathering celebrating our shared history, service, and the connections that continue to bring us together.

Evening Event - Barge Tour & Casa Rio Dinner
One of the highlights of the week was our unforgettable evening along San Antonio’s famous River Walk. Greeting us at the dock was "Lefty" the llama. Yes, he's real even though he looks like a stuffed animal. Members boarded colorful barges for a relaxing cruise through the heart of the city before arriving at Casa Rio for dinner, music, and celebration. The combination of twinkling lights, warm Texas evening air, and wonderful company created memories that will last for years to come.

Delegates Reception & Meeting
The Delegates /Candidates Reception was called Boots, Bling, and Bigotes (mustaches.) As you can see the mustaches were a hit.
The Delegates Meeting brought together representatives from chapters across the country and out Members at Large, for an important time of fellowship and club business. Along with meaningful discussions and reports, the gathering reflected the strong bonds, dedication, and shared purpose that continue to keep The Kiwi Club thriving.

Closing Banquet

The closing banquet was a wonderful evening of celebration, fellowship, and fun as we proudly introduced our 2026–2028 officers.
Guests enjoyed outstanding entertainment provided by The Tiffiny Dawn Band of New Braunfels, Texas. Their lively rendition of “That Old Time Rock and Roll” had everyone on their feet and joining in the traditional conga line that wrapped around the room.
Did anyone capture a video of the conga line? We would love to see and share it!
