Stephanie McCauley Butler

Past President

Stephanie McCauley Butler graduated from Stewardess School in Class 71-8 and was sent to New York LGA immediately after training.

In 1973, she transferred to Los Angeles. After sixteen years in LAX, she transferred to IOR to fly international trips where she typically flew purser and galley positions. While at IOR, she volunteered her time to the APFA Union, working with Professional Standards. She finished her career with American in 2008, having flown over 37 years.

In 1994, Stephanie joined The Kiwi Club, Chicago Chapter. In 2004, eight Kiwis formed a new chapter in the Chicago area, the O'Hare Chapter, named after the airport serving Chicago and around. The chapter covered the Northwest suburbs and Stephanie became a member.

She has served on the chapter's Executive Board in many positions, and has taken pleasure in watching the chapter grow from the original eight members to over 130 members.
