About the Desoto Hotel:
Hotel Location
Our hotel, The DeSoto, is wonderfully located at 15 E. Liberty Street in the Historic District, where you may stroll at your leisure enjoying the many historic homes, and squares, shops and restaurants. For those who prefer to ride rather than walk, just outside of our hotel is a DOT stop, the fare-free shuttle service with 18 stops in the Historic District and the Savannah Belles Ferry.

The Kiwi Club special convention hotel rate is, $229 per night, single or double occupancy. While the hotel does not offer any suites we're confident that you'll find the well-appointed rooms to be the perfect retreat. A reservation link and reservation phone number is available above.

If You are Flying to Savannah:
You will most likely fly into the Savannah Airport (SAV)

There are several ways to get from the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport to The DeSoto hotel in downtown Savannah:

Taxi or ride-share: You can take a taxi or ride-share service such as Uber or Lyft from the airport to The DeSoto hotel. The ride should take around 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Cost is around $28 one way.

Rental car: You can rent a car at the airport and drive to The DeSoto hotel. The hotel has a valet parking service available for an additional fee.

Airport shuttle: Several shuttle companies offer airport transportation to and from The DeSoto hotel. You can book a shuttle service online or at the airport upon arrival.

Public transportation: You can take the Chatham Area Transit (CAT) bus from the airport to downtown Savannah. The fare is $1.50 per ride, and the bus stops near The DeSoto hotel.

How to get Around Savannah without a Car

If you don't have a car, no problem. There are several ways to get around Savannah without a car, including:
